Floating River Circus “Flotsam” Comes to SF (July 9-10)

FLOTSAM! River Circus runs aground in Oakland (July 7-8) and San Francisco on July 9th and 10th only

FLOTSAM! is an enigmatic troupe of musicians, circus artists, and puppeteers traveling on a handmade raft, performing for free in waterfront towns along the way: an original theatrical fairy-tale story of doom and hope is told through virtuosic live music, juggling, dance, aerials and physical comedy. Originally conceived by accordion troubadour legend, Jason Webley, their 2022 tour started in Sacramento and has floated the whole way down the river to emerge from the delta in the San Francisco Bay after performing in Walnut Grove, Rio Vista, Stockton, Richmond, and Oakland.

The show is all ages, family and kid-friendly.
Performance starts at 7 pm
Bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on, come early for a good spot!

The performance is FREE, but donations are much appreciated.

The Oakland performance will be at the Oakland Estuary Park, just south of the Jack London Aquatic Center. Just go towards the beach and find the unusual “boat’ – that’s us!
