One of the most unique interactive music festivals in the Bay Area is back!
Flower Piano returns for its 11th year with 11 days of music, 12 pianos, and 130 performances in the Botanical Garden, plus plenty of open play opportunities, family-friendly activities, and more – September 10-20, with a special opening night event on Thursday, September 10.
Participants are invited to explore and enjoy the Botanical Garden’s plant collections as they seek out 12 pianos spread across the 55-acres.
Start the festival right at the Opening Celebration, Thursday, September 10, headlined by La Gente SF making their Flower Piano debut with a high-energy blend of World Music, Cumbia, Reggae, Salsa and Reggaeton. Fuel up with Latin-inspired bites and drinks, and get ready to dance!
Flower Piano is a musical event and attraction that provides open access to music and pianos within the natural, outdoor environment of San Francisco Botanical Garden.

Patrons can enjoy the flexibility to relax and enjoy all areas of the festival at will for the full day with a Zoox Lounge Pass, or Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a Zoox Lounge Weekend All Access Pass. Featured artists will give an approximate 90 minute musical set.
Attendees will have access to craft cocktails, local food makers, and enjoy a private concert series in our all ages Celebration Garden event! Includes general admission for Flower Piano.
During Flower Piano 2026, the Celebration Garden in the Botanical Garden will be transformed into the Flower Piano Lounge, an upgraded musical landscape featuring priority entry to the festival, special performances from local headliners, access to premium bars, food from local makers, lounge seating, dedicated restrooms, and flexibility to relax and enjoy all areas of the festival at will. - There will be a combination of chairs and lawn seating available. We encourage you to bring a blanket or your own camping chair to enjoy the lawn, as provided chairs are first come, first serve.

- Ticketed events are not transferable or refundable. San Francisco Botanical Garden is open rain or shine and does not issue refunds due to weather.
