Free Old 97s Concert “Texas on Tour” | Justin Herman Plaza

Capping off the final day of the 3-day  “Texas On Tour” promotional roadshow, Rhett Miller and his rollicking alt-country outfit Old 97s are playing a free concert at Justin Herman Plaza at 5pm on Thursday, August 5, 2010. Also performing today is Tex-Mex rock ‘n’ roll spitfire Patricia Vonne.

The concert is part of the 3-day “Texas On Tour” promotional roadshow (Aug 3-5, 2010) put on by the Texas Tourism Board which has put together a series of attractions to “bring the Lone Star State” alive including a virtual beach and a virtual kayaking tour.
