Annie Alley Public Promenade | SoMa
From May 20-24, 2013 SPUR embarks on a week-long experiment in public placemaking in San Francisco’s Annie Alley.
Working with the Yerba Buena Community Benefit District, they will close Annie Alley to car traffic and host a series of outdoor public events, including a picnic, a film screening, a concert and a discussion of the role Zuccotti Park played in Occupy Wall Street.

Annie Alley, reimagined as a pedestrian plaza, will act as the stage, and the band, critically lauded by local and national publications, will serve up an evening of acoustic rock, spiced up with a dash of funk flavoring.
