In response to the immense popularity of their 2015 exhibition BLOW UP, Bedford Gallery is excited to present a second exhibition of inflatable art from July 14 through September 15. Featuring a brand new roster of artists, BLOW UP II explores the imaginative ways that air is used as a tool to create large-scale sculptures.

The exhibiting artists translate everyday materials and imagery into larger-than-life, yet nearly lighter-than-air art that is rich with meaning, resulting in a wide array of works that are figurative, conceptual, and abstract.

BLOW UP II will feature large-scale artworks by a roster of internationally renowned artists not before seen at the Bedford. BLOW UP II will travel nationally after its debut at the Bedford Gallery.

Participating Artists:
Chromaforms (Portola Valley, California), Sharon Engelstein (Houston, Texas), FriendsWithYou (Los Angeles, California), Joshua Harker (Dexter, Michigan), Susan Lee-Chun (Miami, Florida), Matt Ritchie (San Francisco, California), Lizabeth Rossof (Denver, Colorado), Jen Stark (Los Angeles, California), and Max Streicher (Toronto, Canada).
