Come dressed in your Viking helmets and Brünnhilde braids for a free afternoon of opera and bowling with the Merola Opera Program at the Presidio Bowling Center from 4:30-6 pm on Saturday, February 8, 2014.
Meet opera singer Casey Candebat, take photos with fun opera props and enjoy an afternoon of free Wagner Bowling. Make a strike while bowling to the melody of Wagner’s “Ride of the Valkyries” (the selection used in a memorable scene from the film Apocalypse Now).
The Presidio Bowling Center features over 40 different beers and 19 different wines, so bring along the cash you’re saving for a drink if you like since the bowling is free; bowling is offered a first come, first served basis. Arrive early to make sure you get a lane.
