Agentic AI Coding Experience 

Join us at this TechXchange Workshop to experience a hands-on lab and build your next application with Agentic AI. By the end, you’ll have something you can call your own and new skills you can use immediately to up your AI coding game. Bring your creative juices, your AI coder and some fun with you.  Spec Coding with Open Source Data: 

Work in teams to use the latest techniques for spec coding a full stack application based on watsonx.data open source data frameworks (eg., Apache Cassandra®).

Who it’s for:

• Developers who are new to spec coding / spec-driven development
• Comfortable with Git and basic web/API concepts
• Want to build “real-world” apps on Cassandra/Astra with a modern workflow

What you’ll build: 

• A small but real database-backed app. Choose one starter domain or bring your own!:
• Todo+ (lists, items, tags, recent activity)
• Habit Tracker (habits, check-ins, streaks)

Pre-Requisites:

• Create Account at astra.datastax.com. You will supply us with the email address you used to create the account and we will validate.
• Select an agentic coding tool. Examples: IBM Bob (preferred), Claude Code, Gemini, Github Co-Pilot, Cursor, etc. You will supply us with the name of the tool you selected.
