Come experience a first-of-its-kind creative exchange with Gaza youth and an interactive exhibition in San Francisco.
This summer, ArtSeed’s 20th Annual Open Call Exhibition brings a unique cross-cultural collaboration to San Francisco, bridging local creativity with the voices of youth abroad.
We are proud to partner with the Gaza Children Village’s Academies of Hope (as featured in The New York Times) to showcase 19 drawings created by youth in Gaza. Central to this exhibition are collaborative response pieces created during ArtSeed’s Fine Arts Summer Intensive. This show seeks to inspire hope while asking questions like: What stirs your imagination? How do you define home? Which documents or cultural artifacts from your history provide you with wisdom and guidance?
Throughout the exhibition’s nine-week run, artists, visitors, and art lovers are invited to submit original artwork responding to the 19 works by the children in the Academies of Hope or reflecting on our annual theme: So What Now? Figments, Domains, and Advance Directives.
