Free Beginner Parkour Class

Whether you’re excited about developing new skills, play, challenge, a fun way to exercise, or a friendly social experience, this beginner parkour class is for you!

This class is designed for people with no previous parkour experience and those who would like to practice the basics. People of all ages and fitness levels are welcome. It’s an opportunity to learn foundational elements of parkour at ground level. The class will cover skills like:

– Jumping and landing mechanics

– Moving in a coordinated way with your hands and feet

– Getting up, down, and moving fluidly over low walls

We will meet by the bocce ball courts at Embarcadero Plaza.

Wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in, a good pair of running shoes, and we highly recommend bringing water.

Participants under 18 must have parental permission. Participants under 16 must have a parent present. Parkour involves inherent risk. By attending this class, you acknowledge these risks and assume responsibility for your choices about how to participate in the lesson at the appropriate level given your abilities.
