6th Annual “Bizerkeley” Vegan Food Fest w/ 70+ Vendors (2026)

Get ready to eat your way through Berkeley’s 6th Annual Bizerkeley Food Fest, a massive celebration of plant-based food taking over more than 170,000 square feet at Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park. The festival runs from noon-6pm, just one block from Downtown Berkeley BART, and benefits California Pit Bull Rescue. The event features 70+ vendors from around the country, free food samples, live music, shopping, wellness activities, a sports and gaming arena, and plenty of opportunities to discover vegan food that might even fool your favorite meat eater.

Come hungry for this year’s headliners, including Cena Vegan, El Compa Vegano, Fungi Foods, and Maya’s Cookies, plus dozens of additional vendors serving everything from Caribbean food, tamales, ceviche, gelato, Hawaiian lemonade, espresso, cookies, and chili oil to handmade goods and wellness products. There will also be a Bizerkeley Scavenger Hunt with prizes, health and fitness activities, a Wellness Zone curated by Centella Wellness, local DJs and artists, and a pickleball play area. Organizers are also offering a new option to pre-order food from vendors ahead of time, so you can spend less time waiting and more time eating.

Animal lovers have plenty to look forward to, too. California Pit Bull Rescue will bring adoptable dogs to the festival, while organizations including Herd & Flock Animal Sanctuary, Little Hill Sanctuary, Rancho Compassion, and World Animal Protection will be among the participating vendors and organizations. And yes, you can bring your blanket, chairs, stroller, wagon, reusable water bottle, Tupperware, and eating utensils. Pets are not allowed, with ADA working animals permitted.

General Admission starts at $6\8 plus fees, with kids 18 and under admitted free when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Free tickets are also available for qualifying ADA attendees with a blue placard and CalFresh/EBT recipients. Express tickets provide early entry at 11am, before the noon General Admission start, along with shorter lines and other perks. VIP tickets include early entry, private cooking demos, a shaded VIP lounge, a swag bag, and more, though the VIP tier is currently sold out.
