FREE Bonsai Show and Sale, JUNE 7 & 8, 2025, 10 AM TO 4 PM

San Mateo Garden Center 605 Parkside Way San Mateo (cross street Alameda de las Pulgas at 26th Avenue)

SATURDAY: Demonstrations by Jennifer Price from 1:00 PM to 3 PM with demo tree raffle at 3 PM.

SUNDAY: Open to the public workshop by Jennifer Price from 1:00 PM to 3 PM. Workshop tree raffle at 3 PM.

We welcome Chicago based bonsai artist Jennifer Price. She aims to make bonsai accessible to all as she travels extensively around the world leading workshops and demonstrations. As one of the younger generation of bonsai artists, Jennifer describes bonsai as “a way for me to express the grace and power of nature…”. As a former professional ballet dancer, Jennifer has the eye for the natural flow and movement in trees. She specializes in carving and loves nothing more than working with challenging material.

Come see 60 of the best bonsai trees in the Bay Area, browse SBBK member and professional vendor sales items, bring your own bonsai tree to “Dr Bonsai” for advice, free door prize raffles throughout the event as well as a raffle each afternoon featuring dozens of bonsai items. This is a free, family friendly event in the lovely San Mateo Garden Center. If you have not visited the San Mateo Garden Center you are in for a treat.
