Kickstart your year with a day of free workshops and family fun at Capoeira Mandinga Academy and Brazil Cultural Center in the vibrant Piedmont Avenue neighborhood in Oakland.

There will be 3-4 of these 1 hour sessions throughout the day when you will be able to sample three different 20-minute fitness and cultural workshops:
- Capoeira for kids and adults
- Kindergym (parachute time for crawlers and toddlers)
- Aerobics, samba, & yoga
- Speed language class in Portuguese
Additionally, they will have vendors and free activities and samples for everybody:
- Face painting
- Home and Health Tips
- Bodywork
- Smoothies and snacks
- Raw nut butter sampling
- Arts and crafts for kids and adults
- Raffle ($1-5 per ticket)
