Event Details

The Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum presents a weekend dedicated to the inimitable Charlie Chaplin.

Activities will be spilling out unto Niles Blvd between F & I streets. Look for Charlie Chaplin impersonators (esp. on Sunday) riding the steam train, walking around. There’ll also be penny carnival games such as bean bag toss and cupcake walk.

Sat & Sun: Free short films
(Suggested donation of a mere 50¢)

  • 11:30 am:  A Night Out
  • 12:30 pm: In The Park
  • 1:30 pm: The Champion
  • 2:30 pm: A Jitney Elopement
  • 3:30 pm: The Tramp

Sunday @ 2 pm: Charlie Chaplin Lookalike Contest

Come dressed up like your best Charlie and enter the contest for cool prizes.
