Super Bowl 50 | NFL Takes Over SF

Super Bowl City is a, free-to-the-public fan village designed to celebrate the milestone Super Bowl 50 and serve as the hub of fan activities for Super Bowl 50 from Saturday, January 30 through Sunday, February 7, 2016.

Centered in Justin Herman Plaza, on the Embarcadero at the foot of Market Street, there are tons of games and activities like the virtual reality “Fan Dome,” a free zipline experience down a mini Golden Gate Bridge, a replica of The Puppy Bowl, live broadcasts from CBS Sports, 26 free concerts and more.

Super Bowl 50 | NFL Takes Over SF

Our favorite son (he’s from Stockton, but we’ll take him), crooner Chris Isaak performs a free concert in downtown SF at “Super Bowl City” along with the official re-lighting of the Bay Lights and a special pre Super Bowl fireworks show.

The Chris Isaak concert takes place at Sue Bierman Park (view a map of Super Bowl City) which is just north of Justin Herman Plaza. You should give yourself tons of extra time to arrive since there are full security check points required for entrance.

Prohibited Items into Super Bowl City – Leave these items behind: Bags larger than 18″x 18″ (it’s ok to bring laptop bags and small backpacks), drones, bikes, skateboards, alcohol, folding chairs, pets and more. Read the full list of prohibited items.

Getting to Super Bowl City
