Top of the Mark’s Free “Summer Movie Nights” | 2019

Summer Movie Nights return to Top of the Mark at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins for 2019 every Tuesday starting June 4 through August 20 as the sun set at their 19th-floor lounge.

In commemoration of the 80th Anniversary, This year (2019) will showcase romantic & lighthearted military-themed films, honoring Top of the Mark’s reputation as a destination for veterans and military professionals since WWII.

Summer Movie Nights at The Mark | 2019
Every Tuesday, June 4 – August 20, 2019 (Film at 7:30 pm)
Top of the Mark Lounge, Intercontinental Mark Hopkins Hotel, Nob Hill, SF
FREE (Complimentary Admission) Bring money for food/drinks

Each month features special wines by the glass ($10) or bottle ($40) in addition to the regular drinks and appetizer menu.   Popcorn is available by donation, with all proceeds going to Pets for Vets.

Run Silent, Run Deep, which refers to “silent running”, a submarine stealth tactic, is a 1958 movie starring Clark Gable and Burt Lancaster. The story describes World War II submarine warfare, and deals with themes of vengeance, endurance, courage, loyalty, and honor, and how these can be tested during time of war.
