Free Comedy Happy Hour | The Royale

Every second Monday, The Royale in the Trendyloin brings you Monday Night Happy Hour Comedy with host Cara Tramontano and a full lineup of comedians.

Bring some money for a drink or snacks, but otherwise, enjoy this free evening of laughs to beat your case of the Mondays. Carry-in food is welcome.

Jeff Kreisler won the Bill Hicks Spirit Award for Thought Provoking Comedy and is the author of HarperCollins’ bestselling satire “Get Rich Cheating.” Jeff is a regular commentator on “Showbiz Tonight” and MSNBC, co-host of “Cheater & The Rude” on the Progressive Radio Network, Managing Editor of TheFinalEdition.com and Executive Producer of The Final Edition Radio Hour. He was the Head Writer for The War Room on Current TV, a writer for Comedy Central’s Indecision2008, Huffington Post, TheStreet.com, and The Independent Film Channel. Jeff is also the star of several hit international festival shows including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Calgary, New York [presented by Comedy Central], Chicago, San Francisco Festivals, and “The Americans” at Edinburgh Comedy Festival.

Dhaya Lakshminarayanan has been featured in Bridgetown Comedy Festival (2013), SF Sketchfest (2013, 2012), the Boston Comedy Festival (2012 semifinalist), and the Women in Comedy Festival (2013). She is the Grand Prize Winner of both Comedy Central Asia’s “Ultimate Comedy Challenge” (2013) and On24′s virtual comedy competition. Dhaya is a frequent storyteller on NPR’s “Snap Judgment,” has appeared on PBS’s KQED, and hosted the Emmy-award winning television series “High School Quiz Show” on PBS’s WGBH.

Lydia Popovich produces and hosts all female stand-up showcases in the Bay Area called Ladies Love the Layover and Ladies Love the Punchline. She is a regular host at the SF Punchline and Rooster T. Feathers, was featured in SF Sketchfest 2013 comedy festival and has performed at the SJ Improv, Cobb’s Comedy Club and the Purple Onion.

Casey Ley‘s comedy has been seen in festivals such as SF Sketchfest, Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland, OR and the Moontower Comedy Festival in Austin, TX. He is the host and creator of the popular monthly stand-up show “This Feels Wrong” and a weekly comedy game show called “Mayhem Trivia.” He’s been featured on NPR and was voted the Bay Area’s best comic by readers of SF Weekly in 2012.
