From Nashville, New York to San Francisco, communities across America are marking 9/25 – a fitting nod to the 1980’s movie “9 to 5,” with commemorations of Dolly Parton’s life and legacy. Crockett is joining the celebration and turning its monthly Friday evening event, Night Trip – into – DOLLYCON – a free, joyful tribute to Dolly Parton’s life, music, movies, style and spirit.
Pomona Street businesses will stay open late with vendor pop-ups, music, and surprises. Guests are encouraged to come dressed as Dolly or someone from Dolly World. Best Dressed wins a pair of customized one/one coveralls provided by Monarch Store.
For one September night, this historic small town under the bridge becomes a love letter to Dolly.
