Steven Spielberg produced this Tobe Hooper classic masterpiece of 80’s ‘family horror’ that pits a typical family in suburbia against a haunting that rapidly goes from quirky to very sinister. Incredible effects (for 1982, that is) along with that ‘Spielberg suburban family feel’ rounded out this surprisingly spooky PG-rated thrill ride.

There’s lots of space for chairs and blankets in front, but make sure to arrive early (and drive slowly) if you plan to park and watch from your car.

There will be a 20 minute intermission, where movie-goers can donate for snacks like popcorn, hot dogs and themed cupcakes, as well as a raffle, which includes a movie-themed prize pack. Come in costume. The best costume will get a Halloween-related scary DVD.
