Sometimes its necessary to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city to enjoy the serenity of a national park. September 24 is Public Lands Day, which means free entrance to all national parks including Muir Woods and Yosemite Park.
Yosemite park is waiving their usual twenty dollar per car fee, and Muir Woods is allowing free entry and free parking.
Mark your calendar for these remaining fee-free days in 2011:
- September 24 (Public Lands Day)
- November 11-13 (Veterans Day weekend)
