Esta Noche has presented the Bay Area’s best progressive comedians free of charge in the heart of the Mission.
Now, new hosts are continuing the fun. Every Thursday, straight and gay comedians tell jokes on a stage that was built for drag queens.
- 1st Thursday of the month: Yuri Kagan and friends
- 2nd Thursday of the month: Emily Van Dyke and friends
- 3rd Thursday of the Month: “The Bitchslap” with hosts Eloisa Bravo and Kimberly Rose Wendt
- 4th Thursday of the month: Jessica Sele and friends
Esta Noche is a gay bar where everyone is welcome as long as they are 21 and over.

Headliner: Lydia Popovich is a SF-based comedian. Her anecdotal humor and vivid storytelling make her a unique voice in a sea of dick jokes. She produces and hosts an all-female stand-up showcase in the Bay Area called Ladies Love, a carefully curated female line up delights standing room only audiences with innovative humor from a distinctly female perspective. Lydia has performed in comedy festivals all over the country including this year’s SFSketchfest.
