Event Details

If You Give a Girl a Bike by author Hayley Diep, is coming to Candlestick Point State Recreation Area!

A StoryWalk places an illustrated children’s book, disassembled page by page, along a designated walking route.

Join us for a reading of the book with the author, and bike ride with SF Bike Coalition. Families can also participate in a scavenger hunt, meet some reptile ambassadors with Tree Frog Treks, visit with Cal Academy Family Nature Club and meet with a librarian from SF Public Library.

*Families who attend will receive a copy of If You Give A Girl A Bike (while supplies last).

Families are encouraged to bring thier bikes, we will have a few on hand to loan out for the bike ride.

Feel free to bring a packed lunch water bottle and wear layers, the park can get windy in the afternoon.

We hope you can make it!

Thank you to our partners Parks California for hosting this event!
