For an evening, the esteemed de Young Museum opens its general collection to all with free admission.

Come see some of the world’s best American paintings, decorative arts and crafts, arts from Africa, Oceania, and the Americas, international contemporary art, and textiles.

This event is sponsored by Ovation TV and Xfinity and is totally FREE, except for the bar. But, hey, at least there is a bar.

THAT’S NOT ALL! CHECK THIS OUT:

  • EXPERIENCE tableaux vivants featuring actors as artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, and Paul Gauguin.
  • LISTEN to a lecture on Absinthe: History in a Bottle by Barnaby Conrad, author and Fine Arts Museums Trustee.
  • DANCE to live music by wild jazz band Le Chat Lunatique.
  • CREATE your own Impressionist work of art.
  • All these are also FREE!
