Event Details

Get the real dirt on greening public space by joining SFPA, Department of Public Works (DPW), and fellow Street Parks volunteers for an informative and fun, free workshop designed to assist you in reaching your greening project goals.

The first part of the day will be focused on fund raising and community organizing. You’ll hear from two successful Street Park stewards about how they organized their community and raised money for their projects.

Representatives from granting agencies will present information on their award program requirements and answer questions about the application process. After a lunch break, you’ll depart on a mini road trip to tour 3 imaginative Street Park sites. DPW will provide vans for the tour.

Space is limited. Please RSVP soon to Julia Brashares at 415.621.3260 ext. 101 to assure your space in the workshop.
