Free Hands-On Wind Workshop: Build + Test Parachutes (Livermore)

Join Quest Science Center for SPARKs: Wind Workshop, a free, hands-on family activity at Quest Plaza.

Participants will design and build a parachute device, then test it in a wind tunnel to see how long it can stay aloft. Families will explore aerodynamics, engineering, and design through hands-on experimentation as they build, test, adjust, and try again.

This drop-in activity is designed for children and adults to explore, create, and problem solve together. Come see what you can build when the wind is your engine!
