Event Details

The Frankenart Mart is a quirky shoebox-sized art gallery in the Inner Richmond. Not only do they have curious one-of-a-kind interactive art exhibits, but once a month there’s free hot dogs all day. July 4, 2010 also happens to be the start of the 4th annual Hot Dog Drawing Contest.

Napoleon’s Clothing “Sweat” Shoppe is up and running, so be prepared to alter, sew, and swap clothes while you eat your free beef or veggie dog. Bring your lone socks to add to the Lost Sock Memorial Cat Tower. Bring clothes to swap. Bring tshirts to be drawn on. Even the hot dogs are sweating.

About Hot Dog Day: Every month, Frankenart Mart gives away free beef and veggie dogs to all visitors who want one. There’s a bit of a rivalry going on between the two – scorewise. Though veggie has come very close, beef has historically won out.
