The free Open House at The 9:20 Special is back on July 31, 2014. This is the night that this swing dance party welcomes new comers and thanks their regulars by providing a free beginner Lindy Hop class, free social dance, free performances, and free raffle.
Their large, beautiful ballroom will be packed with people – many brand new to Lindy Hop and many who have been dancing for years. They promise an evening of great energy, awesome dancing, and friendly faces.
The 9:20 Special Open House Schedule
- 8:20-9:20 pm: Beginner Lindy Hop lesson
- 9:20 pm-12:30 am: DJ dance party
- 10:15 pm: Performances & Raffle
The 9:20 Special is a weekly Lindy Hop swing dance venue offering classes and a dance every Thursday night in San Francisco. The longest running and largest Lindy Hop venue in the Bay Area, The 9:20 Special draws crowds of around 200 people each week. It’s open to all ages and there’s no alcohol – just dancing.
