Event Details

We are living in a time that feels often confusing and stressful. By meditating regularly we can experience profound peace, bliss and happiness. In this meditation workshop, participants will have a chance to learn about the scientific research on meditation and try a simple meditation technique with Dr. Manish Saggar, an expert on meditation.

About Dr. Saggar:
Dr. Manish Saggar is an assistant professor in the department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Saggar’s lab is dedicated to developing computational methods that could allow for anchoring psychiatric diagnosis into biological features. He received his doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin and completed his postdoctoral training at Stanford. As part of his doctoral work, he developed computational methods to understand how brain activity changes with intensive meditation training.
