Agapé Soul is a Modern Soul band based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Led by bassist/producer Darryl Anders, the band delivers a musical experience that is all about love, soul, and undeniably funky grooves, destined to stand the test of time. Before stepping out as a bandleader, Anders built a reputation as a solid sideman with an impeccable sense of time, tone and a mile-deep pocket. His credits include gigs with funk and soul legends Tower of Power, Zigaboo Modeliste, and Booker T. Jones, as well as Grammy-winning songwriter Bonnie Hayes, and two-time Grammy-nominee Ledisi.

Soul Mechanix blends groove-based Soul improv and progressive Funk drawing from a diverse universe of influences. Born from a fire to create something funky and unpredictable, Soul Mechanix is all love and features many of the top musicians in the Bay Area.
