Event Details

Join SF in SF (Science Fiction in San Francisco)  as their 2012 season kicks off with a free screening of George Melies’ Hugo plus a few of his short films. As always, popcorn is free.

Doors and cash bar open at 6pm. Film begins at 7pm. Technically it is free, but there’s a suggested $5-$10 donation at the door to benefit Variety Children’s Charity of Northern California if you’re feeling like helping out.

>> Please note the date change – the event takes place on Wednesday April 11, 2012, not on Thursday April 12th as was originally scheduled.

About Hugo:

Hugo Cabret, an orphan boy living in the walls of a Paris train station, meets a girl (Chloë Moretz) who possesses the key to a machine left behind by the father he recently lost. With her help, he searches for the answer to a mystery linking a bitter old toy shop owner, a hidden message from his dead father and a mechanical man.
