Free Mystery Movie Night | Red Devil Lounge
The Devil Made Me View It is the name of the free Monday night mystery movie series at the Red Devil Lounge.
Drink it up with specials like $4 for well cocktails and $4 for draft beer. Plus they’ll let you bring in take-out from any of their Polk Street neighborhood restaurants so you can make it dinner and a movie (hint hint… Bob’s Donuts… yummmm!)
Is this event taking place???
Please note that Red Devil Lounge told us this movie series is taking place every Monday through December, but sometimes it’s not listed on their online calendar – so be warned. Best best is to call RDL to find out before heading to the venue.
Purple Rain is a 1984 American rock musical drama film directed by Albert Magnoli and written by Magnoli and William Blinn.
Rolling Stone: Well, there’s no contest over the Number One spot, right? Purple Rain is the summer album of all summer albums, the peak of the purple pyramid, the blood-and-thunder blockbuster all hot-weather pretenders have tried to match ever since. The summer of ’84 was already a hit-packed pop-radio orgy of historic proportions, but Prince topped everyone with the mutant electro-blues of “When Doves Cry.” Then he just kept rolling from “Let’s Go Crazy” to “I Would Die 4 U.” And the majestic guitar heroics of the title hymn purify your soul in the waters of Lake Minnetonka.
