Free Night of Theater 2010 is giving away nearly 10,000 free theater tickets for the month of October to theater companies all over the Bay Area. The online giveaway beings on September 29th at 6pm (for performances 10/1 to 10/19) with a second round of giveaways taking place on October 13th.

About 2010 “Free Night of Theater” The giveaway begins online at 6pm on Wednesday September 29th. Nearly 10,000 tickets will be given away to shows such as Blanket Babylon, Jerry Springer The Opera, Smuin Ballet, 42nd Street Moon, Cutting Ball Theater, Circus Finelli and over a hundred more [view the complete list].

How to get your free tickets:
1) sign up for a free “Patron ID” (you can do this in advance)
2) Log in to tixbayarea.com at 6pm on 9/29/10 to reserve yoru tickets

The first giveaway round begins the night of the campaign kick-off, September 29th at 6:00 PM, and will include tickets for performances from October 1st to the 19th. The second round of FNOT will be conducted exclusively online; beginning on Wednesday, October 13th at 6:00 PM; round two will provide free tickets for performances occurring between October 20th to the 31st.
