Celebrate summer at the annual North Shattuck Block Party, a free, all-ages street party.

Enjoy live music, artisan vendors, local food and drink, California wine, craft beer, family activities, lawn games, and shopping from neighborhood businesses. The event showcases the vibrant community, culture, and culinary destination known as North Berkeley’s historic and charming North Shattuck district.

Two blocks will be closed to traffic to allow room for dancing, games, vendor tents, and gathering spaces.

At last year’s event, Local Butcher Shop and Farmhouse Kitchen served up delicious street food throughout the day. Attendees sampled a special olive oil tasting with Like Family olive oil hosted by The Filling Station. Craft brewers like Berkeley’s Gilman Brewing Company poured and Vintage Berkeley offered diverse tastings of California wines. Artisan vendors hosted by ACCI Gallery, indigo dyeing hosted by Urban Indigo, and family crafts and interactive lawn games entertained all ages.

Bring your friends, family, pups, and neighbors, and join in on the fun. While you’re in the neighborhood, feel free to spend time in the North Shattuck business district which comprises world-famous eateries, board game cafes, boutique shops, butcher shops, cheesemongers, bottle shops, art galleries, and more.

This free community event is a fundraiser for the North Shattuck Association and is sponsored by the City of Berkeley and Downtown Berkeley Association. More Info: northshattuck.org
