Event Details

Bring your picnic basket and lawn chair and enjoy the sounds of classical music at this free outdoor concert at the Oshman Family JCC.

This unique orchestra brings together an array of musicians from all over the world who infuse their culture into their music. Conducted by distinguished violinist Alexander Aisenberg, the orchestra will perform the great classical music of Mendelssohn, Vivaldi and Haydn.

The concert will be preceded by the young talents from the Capriccio Summer Chamber Music Institute and Festival, an intensive workshop focusing on chamber music training and performance for students of violin, viola, and cello, ages 10 and above.

The concert is one of three, free events at the OFJCC that make of their “On The Town” summer concert series. Other performances include the French-Roma-Flamenco Band Djiin on Saturday, August 4, and the Argentine tango band Tangonero on Saturday, August 11.
