100 Foot Tall Film Night | The Great Wall of Oakland
For special events, and on select first Fridays during Oakland Art Murmur, the Great Wall of Oakland, a 100 ′x 100′ projection installation, illuminates the Uptown District with cutting-edge motion art from around the world.
The Great Wall of Oakland is located at the corner of Broadway and West Grand Avenue in downtown Oakland.
The Great Wall of Oakland has teamed up with Chabot Space and Science Center to bring you a free outdoor planetarium experience on the 100′ urban canvas that is the Great Wall.
They’re featuring near-real-time images of the sun and the sun-gazing Comet ISON that is making it’s way towards the earth right now. Come be mesmerized by this beautiful blend of art and science.
