Free Public Star Party + Telescope Moon Viewing at Lands’ End (SF)

INTERNATIIONAL OBSERVE THE MOON NIGHT!!!
In collaboration with the San Francisco Amateur Astronomers, the Golden Gate National Recreation area will host a FREE Public Star Party at Lands’ End for “International Observe the Moon Night”.

Meet us at the USS San Francisco Memorial at the El Camino Del Mar parking lot Saturday, October 21st from 6pm-9pm.

Telescopes will be set up to show you the craters and mountains of the Moon, planets, bright and colorful double stars, and deep sky objects, including star clusters and nebulas! There will also be a Ranger station with fun activities for astronomers of all ages.
