About This Event

RADIO DAY is hosted by Terry McGovern and Holly Quan, and features live entertainment and fun for all ages at the California Historical Radio Society in Alameda.
LIVE performances include: * Don Neely’s Rhythm Aces (Hot Jazz of the Roaring Twenties) * Top Shelf Classics (performing Motown and classic hits) * Live Radio Play: The Thin Man — The Goofy Groom * School of Rock Show Band * DJs from leading Bay area stations FREE museum tours all day Vintage radio auction featuring top selections from the CHRS collection Curated exhibits from radio and broadcasting experts, plus community partners W6CF live ham radio operation Surplus equipment sale Museum store featuring refurbished vintage radios for purchase Food trucks
