From May 30 to August 29, the beloved Music on the Square series returns every Friday, bringing good tunes, great company, and golden-hour magic. Whether you’re dancing in the crowd or lounging by the flowing fountains, it’s the perfect way to kick off your weekend. Bring your crew, feel the beat, and make it a summer to remember!

Celebrating nineteen years of live music magic in Downtown Redwood City, Music on the Square returns from 6 to 8pm on Friday nights from May 30 through August 29. From rock, reggae, and funk to Latin, soul, and everything in between, this fourteen-week series delivers high-energy performances that keep Courthouse Square bopping and rocking, while featuring top-tier talent from across the Bay and beyond!

The season kicks off with the electrifying Santana Tribute Carnaval and wraps up with the infectious pop and soul of Pride & Joy. With its international ambience, unbeatable weather, and welcoming feel, the Square is the perfect spot to unwind with loved ones and friends.

And the best part? It’s all completely free! So grab a bite from nearby restaurants, bring a lawn chair or blanket, and let the music move you–it’s the Peninsula’s favorite way to spend a Friday evening!
