Community Rowing days at Rocking the Boat are a great way to experience the water from SF’s coolest new park!
Community members (all ages welcome!) are invited to join Rocking the Boat staff on board our fleet of student-built whitehall-style rowboats for short rides around India Basin. Rowers get to see and learn about the shoreline, check out sea birds and other wildlife, and see their city from a whole new perspective.
No rowing or boating experience necessary. Participants can try rowing if they like or let our staff take you for a ride. Lifejackets are provided and all participants will be asked to sign a waiver before rowing.
Additional Community Rowing Days will be held on:
- Sun 8/31 (from10am-2pm);
- Sat 9/6 (from 10am-2pm);
- Fri 9/12 (from 1pm-5pm);
- Sun 9/21 (from 10am-2pm);
- Fri 9/26 (from 1pm-5pm);
- Sun 9/28 (from 12pm-4pm);
- Sat 10/4 (from 10am-2pm);
- Fri 10/10 (from 1pm-5pm);
- Sun 10/12 (from 11am-3pm);
- Sun 10/19; Fri 10/24 (from 1pm-5pm);
- Sun 10/26 (from 11am-3pm)
