The oldest community orchestra on the West Coast, the San Francisco Civic Symphony (SFCS) has been proud to offer free concerts to the community while providing a unique, welcoming environment for musicians of all skill levels to study and perform a diverse repertoire of classical music.

  • Bernstein: Overture to Candide
  • Grieg: Funeral March (Brass and Percussion feature)
  • Sibelius: Karelia Suite March
  • Prokofiev: Peter and Wolf, with narration
  • Williams: Star Wars Epic II Suite

Music Director: G. Mancho Gonzalez. Special guest narrator: Tom Ammiano.

With 1600 seats, they have plenty of seats for everyone.
