Free Saturdays at de Young Museum: Tattoo Talk w/ Tex Buss | SF

Join local tattoo artist Tex Buss in the Piazzoni Murals Room for a talk on the unique challenges of composition in tattooing. Tex will highlight how traditional composition, based on the four-sided frame of an artwork or the use of three dimensional space, compares to the ever-shifting horizons on a human form.

This talk will be followed by a tour of our permanent galleries led by Tex and a hands-on art activity in the Piazzoni Murals Room.
