The YeaShOre Community invites you to a free bonfire at a secret spot in the Oakland hills starting at 7:30 pm on Saturday evening, July 11, 2015.
Free, but an RSVP is required by 9 pm on Wednesday, July 8 to Yeashore -at- yahoo.com. (Please only RSVP once, even if you do not get a reply confirmation right away.)
This will be a fun evening around the Bonfire. Come for the Jewish Havdalah ritual, share your voice or just listen as you watch the flames dance. Please bring food and drinks for yourself and some to share. Bring many friends, stories, songs, and musical instruments.
The Havdalah ritual lasts a few minutes. As not all the guests at YeaShOre’s bonfires are Jewish, they explain it and invite everyone to join in (or at least be quiet). The YeaShOre Community will provide chocolate, kosher marshmallows and crackers for S’mores. They will also bring potatoes and onions for roasting in the Bonfire… mmm.
