Free Shakespeare in the Park 2026: “Antony and Cleopatra” (July 25-Sept. 27)

July 25-September 27, 2026
Cupertino, Redwood City & San Francisco
FREE – No tickets required

Free Shakespeare in the Park returns for its 44th season with Antony and Cleopatra, bringing free outdoor theater to parks around the Bay Area from July through September.

Presented by San Francisco Shakespeare Festival and directed by Katja Rivera, Antony and Cleopatra explores the conflict between duty and desire against the backdrop of the Roman Empire and Egypt, and how personal relationships can collide with political power.

Since 1983, SF Shakes has brought free Shakespeare performances to audiences around the Bay Area. No tickets or Shakespeare experience are required – just show up and enjoy the show.

The 2026 production travels to Cupertino’s Memorial Park, Redwood City’s Red Morton Park, and two San Francisco locations: McLaren Park’s Jerry Garcia Amphitheater and Sue Bierman Park along the Embarcadero.

Show length: Approximately 90 minutes with no intermission.
