Free Veggie Update for 2/15: 50 people will get a free batch of root vegetables from Heirloom Organics starting at 1oam.
Love vegetables? Love “Free”? Love ditching work on Tuesday or Thursday mornings to get both of those things? Then you’ll love “First 50 Freebies in February.”
CUESA, the Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture has put together a program for February 2011 to hand out free farmers market vegetables each Tuesday and Thursday at 10am. Be one of the first 50 people to come to the market on any Tuesday or Thursday in February – and you’ll get a free farm-fresh treat + a recipe.
The specific deal each day will be tweeted and Facebooked the morning of.
