Event Details

Celebrate the holidays with a day of family fun and festive tradition at the San Mateo County History Museum. The Museum will present a FREE special holiday activity, “Tree Treasures,” from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Step into the warmth and wonder of the season as children create handcrafted ornaments inspired by the Victorian era.

At 1 p.m., enjoy a special holiday performance by the Wandering Bow Band in the museum’s historic Courtroom A. The band will fill the halls with the sounds of the season, performing a lively selection of 19th-century songs that bring history to life. The performance is sponsored by the Cypress Lawn Heritage Foundation.

Part of Redwood City’s Hometown Holidays celebration, this event offers a perfect blend of music, history, and hands-on creativity—all free of charge!
