Waterfront Walkabout is back! San Francisco’s newest event series returns with live music, interactive craft activities, and monumental art.
Wander along the Big Art Loop – Portside at your own pace or sign up in advance for an optional free guided art tour.

WHATS ON DECK
- Corpus (Pier 14): Visit the welcome booth and meet the artist Michael Christian
- Echoes (Ferry Terminal Plaza): Drop in to Paint & Sip, interactive games with Playful SF, or free piano or guitar lessons with Daniel Lupo Music and the Chamber of Connection

GUIDED ART TOURS
Join a free docent-led tour to hear the stories behind the four featured sculptures! These 50-minute guided walks depart from Pier 14 (at Corpus) and end at Pier 7.

How to sign up for guided art tours: Space is limited—advance tour registration is required. To sign up, please select the tour ticket type option during Eventbrite checkout. No purchase is necessary.
EXPLORATORIUM
Not ready for the night to end? Extend your evening with the Exploratorium After Dark, an adult-only experience featuring craft cocktails, immersive art, and 650+ interactive exhibits (6–10 PM; tickets required).
This event will return on November 19th to round out the fall season. Mark your calendars!
Waterfront Walkabout celebrates the Big Art Loop – Portside, a walkable, bikeable trail of monumental temporary sculptures transforming San Francisco’s waterfront—from Fisherman’s Wharf to India Basin Waterfront Park—into a vibrant open-air gallery. This series is presented by the Port of San Francisco, Big Art Loop, Building 180, Ferry Building, Downtown SF Partnership, and Street Plans.
