Celebrate Women’s Month with a stroll through HER-story… The “Wonder Women of SF” walking tour series celebrates Lady artists, pioneers, revolutionaries, politicians, entertainers, and generally impressive dames from local history.
The Golden Gate Park edition shares the stories of a bad-ass botanist who slept on cliff-sides to collect rare plant specimens, women who traveled through the Amazon in the pursuit of science, and the first woman to fly over the North Pole among others!
We’ll be walking a path that is mostly flat (but not entirely), spanning about 1.5 miles. Please reach out in advance if you have accessibility concerns. All are welcome, feel free to invite friends! You will need a ticket to attend (not just a Facebook RSVP). Donations are encouraged and gratefully accepted via cash, Paypal, or Venmo.
