Event Details

Our Freedom: A Festival of Music & Movements is a day-long gathering in Oakland bringing together music, movement, and community in every sense of the word.

From live performances and collaborative sets to embodied practices and shared experiences, the festival invites people to connect, create, and be in community. Rooted in justice, healing, and collective care, Our Freedom uplifts voices often pushed to the margins and celebrates art as a force for personal transformation and social change.

Held one week after the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the festival reclaims the meaning of freedom through music, movement, and community.

Join us for a full day of performances, workshops, and connection, culminating in an evening concert bringing artists together on one stage.

Date: July 11, 2026
