Projection de HER SONG, comédie dramatique, en français et en anglais, tournée dans les Pyrénées, écrite et réalisée par John M. Keller. Producteur exécutif James Ivory, Oscarisé pour le film “Call Me by Your Name.”

​La projection sera suivie d’un Q&A avec l’actrice et productrice française Eléa Clair et le comédien Julien Jacob et d’un petit cocktail convivial. En partenariat avec PIAFF.

Synopsis:

Olivia, écrivaine franco-américaine, retourne dans son village d’enfance dans le sud de la France et tombe sous le charme de Madeline, une villageoise aux multiples talents qui prend peu à peu le visage de sa grand-mère dans son roman. Alors que Madeline doit prendre une décision importante qui a à voir avec la « chanson » avec laquelle elle a commencé sa vie, d’étranges coïncidences arrivent, l’Histoire commence à se plagier, et la fiction et la réalité s’entremêlent bizarrement au point qu’Olivia pense être la cause de tout ce qui arrive dans le monde.

Screening of HER SONG, a dramatic comedy, in French and English, filmed in the Pyrenees, written and directed by John M. Keller. Executive-Produced by James Ivory, Oscar winner for the film “Call Me by Your Name.”

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with French actress and producer Eléa Clair and actor Julien Jacob and a meet and greet with refreshments. With the partnership of PIAFF.

Synopsis:

Olivia, a French-American novelist, returns to her ancestral village in the south of France to write the story of her grandmother who fled Paris during the Nazi invasion of World War II. There, she meets Madeline, a talented local artist, who quickly replaces her grandmother as the face of the novel. While Madeline must make an important decision that has to do with the “song” she started her life with, strange coincidences happen, history begins to plagiarize, and fiction and reality intertwine strangely to the point that Olivia thinks she might be the cause of everything that happens in the world.
