¡Que Viva Frida! Join us to celebrate the opening of the exhibition “Frida Kahlo: Appearances can be Deceiving” with the director of Museo Frida Kahlo, Hilda Trujillo, curator Circe Henestrosa, and advising curator Gannit Ankori.

Hear the curators share their love for Frida Kahlo and give an in-depth look at the exhibition’s themes of identity, fashion, and disabilities.

Schedule:

  • 11 am–noon: Hilda Trujillo; talk title TBD  Talk will be in Spanish
  • 1–2 pm: Circe Henestrosa; Appearances Can Be Deceiving: The Making of an Exhibition
  • 3–4 pm: Gannit Ankori, Frida Kahlo and the Construction of Identity
