Event Details

D-Structure SF Presents Strangely Intertwined, Works and Installations by Colin Maisonpierre. August 6th at 8:00pm. Free Wine for the first 100 people, plus Giveaways and Prizes. Free, but RSVP via Facebook.

The Theme “Strangely Intertwined” is drawn from trees and people.

“I have always been visually fixated on both. Trees seem to have endless symbolism flowing through their appendages. It can be anything from blossoming creativity to suppressing roots. I find that many human emotions, feelings, actions, or motives can be found within these branches. This also ties into the relationship between humans and nature. “Strangely Intertwined” is an exploration of these ideas. People and plants have a colorful history, and this is my interpretation. I hope you leave with your own interpretation.”

More about Colin Maisonpierre
I am a true believer that every person strives for some kind of creative outlet. This can be anything from drawing, working on a car, and everything in between. An escape from the norm that forces us to think outside of our daily grind walls.
